Airport Road from King Street to Huntsmill Drive, Town of CaledonThe Region of Peel has initiated a Schedule “C” Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for improvements to Airport Road from King Street to Huntsmill Drive. Airport Road is a north-south arterial road under the jurisdiction of the Region of Peel and situated in the Town of Caledon.
What is this project about?
• Address long term issues related to planned future growth• Enhance the safety of Airport Road by examining:
intersection improvements the potential for roundabouts traffi c calming measures for truck and other vehicular traffi c through Caledon East
• Support the Caledon East Community Improvement Plan including streetscaping
• Promote healthy living by examining infrastructure improvements for walking and cycling
This project will not be considering road widening for additional traffi c along Airport Road.

Thank you To all residents who gave the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) permission to enter their property to gather data last year. The TRCA has been gathering important information on the existing natural environment to assist with the assessment and design of improvements along Airport Road. TRCA will be returning to the study area this Spring to collect further details.
