We’re going to make a cool airplane.

The following day, we were given strips papers to cover a balloon.

We let them dry first, and then painted them with our favorite colors.

Then when it was all dried up, we put our hot air balloon to flying. (08.03.2011)

“We decided to fly around CAIS.”

Vladut brought something to school one day. We were all amazed how it

flies up in the air.

“Hey look Ms. Jai, I show how to fly this”

Ooopss, it got stuck.

So we practice flying our toy helicopter. The children figured it how to fly

Then roll it back and through with your hands.

Then throw up it in the air.

It was a lovely afternoon.

Constructing Airplanes with Wood

The children were offered different sizes of wooden craft sticks, a variety colored paper shapes, and glue to construct an airplane. Constructing the wooden planes required

creativity and problem solving. Some of the children decided that masking tape would help them construct their airplanes better than the glue.
