The Aermec Advantage

No Refrigerant Handling: No need to charge our air cooled hydronic chiller system with refrigerant. Aermec closed refrigerant system does away with the need for certified installation technicians to handle refrigerants. Because there are no refrigerant lines outside the outdoor water chiller cabinet, installation costs are lower versus standard DX ducted split systems.

No Ductwork: Cooling with Aermec chillers and our lines of ductless hydronic fan coils means running small, flexible water pipes into spaces within the walls instead of large ductwork runs. This can save hundreds of useable square feet for living space. Using ductless fan coils results in zero percent duct air loss compared to traditional ducted systems.

Zero Line Length Limitations: With insulated water lines carrying the cooling capacity, there is minimal capacity loss allowing for unlimited line length runs to any hydronic fan coil. This method of delivering rated capacity is far more efficient than traditional direct expansion ductlesssplit systems.

Zoned Cooling: With Aermec air-cooled chillers and ductless fan coils, you condition only the spaces you designate; not the whole building as opposed to a traditional ducted central AC system. This fact allows for diversity and load shifting when doing load and sizing calculations. This reduces installed cost, as well as, operating costs for years to come.

Whisper Quiet Operation: The Aermec Fan Coils are the world's quietest fan coils. At a 25.5 decibel rating, the fan coils emit lower noise than a whisper quiet library (30dB). These are widely used in many hotel and condiminium applications that require a low-noise system.

Other notable advantages with Aermec, is its plug and play feature. These remarkable units come equipped with built in, expansion tank, water storage tank, pump, and strainers. Reducing the overall installation cost over traditional systems.

Simple, reliable, and proven worldwide

This prehistoric hotel built in 1908 is located in the heart of the Arts & Entertainment district of downtown Vancouver. The hotel consists of 57 rooms that hold a modern as well as contemporary interior design. Situated inside the hotel lobby, hotel guests can wine and dine at the "Uva Wine Bar" and "Cibo Trattoria".

One of the great benefits Aermec was able to offer, was being able to operate the units as heat pumps with a boiler for backup for a complete heating system. Each suite has its own fan coil with wireless thermostat which also connects wirelessly to the reservation bridge of the main lobby. The benefits of this wireless system is so that rooms that are not occupied by guests are not being heated or cooled, thus saving energy.

Moda Hotel (British Columbia, Canada)Aermec fan coils were installed and the existing radiator covers were reinstalled. All piping was run in the existing basement pipe chase. Fan coils were hung at the ceiling in the banquet hall utililizing the existing pipe chase as well. Two new condensing boilers replace the existing natural gas boiler.

Installed were 5 ,10, and 20 ton chillers along with 44 fan coils, phase converters, and 2 boilers for domestic hot water. The goal was met, no changes to the beautiful sanctuary, a system that was quieter than opening the windows. Both, sanctuary and banquet hall could be cooled, higher efficiency heating, and all within budget.

This hotel was originally built in 1955. It is composed of 570 bedrooms, restaurants, well-being centre, shopping,centre, garden, and swimming pool.

Turning Water into ComfortAermec AN Chillers and Heat Pumps have been designed and constructed to satisfy small and medium sized cooling and heating applications in residential or commercial venues. The unit is designed for using both hydraulic circuits (evaporator and condensing unit); therefore it can be used both like water chiller and heat pump. The communication between chiller and heat pump operation is obtained managing the chiller circuit. Available in 4 sizes, the units are characterized by their silent operation, high efficiency performance, and reliability, thanks to the use of heat exchangers with a large exchange surface and high-efficiency silent scroll compressors.

The units can be arranged to satisfy a wide range of system requirements. With base or with integrated pump and storage tank. Condensing units without an evaporator are also available.
