Introduction
Get ready. The future of transportation will soon be whooshing down the road in the form of an unparalleled “green,” earth-friendly technology that everyone will want to get their hands on as soon as they can: The Air Car. It is hard to believe that compressed air can be used to drive vehicles. However that is true, and the “air car”, as it is popularly known, has caught the attention of researchers worldwide. It has zero emissions and is ideal for city driving conditions.

How do air engines work?
Approximately 90m³ of compressed air is stored in fibre tanks in the vehicle. The engine is powered by compressed air, stored in a carbon-fibre tank at 30 MPa (4500 psi). The tank is made of carbon fibre in order to reduce its weight.
The expansion of this air pushes the pistons and creates movement. The atmospheric temperature is used to re-heat the engine and increase the road coverage. The air conditioning system makes use of the expelled cold air

Conclusion
From all the disruption made one can say that by using air car there is reduction in air pollution. The emission benefits of introducing this zero emission technology are obvious. Also, the aim of project is to cut cost, create job locally. Also air car provides an answer to the shortage of fuel and high price of fuel.
With petrol and diesel prices going up and the price of oil subjects to fluctuation for motorist, this becomes headache; use of air motor is only the solution. All know that there will be shortage of gasoline (petrol, diesel), in future, engine that runs on compressed air is only the alternative for it.
