Objectives
A majority of Health care
professionals, particularly in the
academic stream, undertake research,
for which a basic training in Ethics of
Medical research is relevant. This
workshop aims to provide a working
knowledge of the ethical issues
involved when research is conducted in
human subjects, who may be healthy
volunteers or patients.
Through case scenarios and hands on
group tasks, the delegates will be
introduced to the tenets of Bioethics
including the Nuremberg code, Helsinki
Declaration and ICMR Guidelines for
Biomedical Research on Human
Participants.
