Project IntroductionProject IntroductionProject IntroductionProject Introduction In Taiwan, Even though young people growing up in
normal family are sometimes afraid of speaking English when
facing foreigners, not to mention the disadvantaged children.
So Love for Kids Project wants to provide those disadvantaged
children an English learning environment, and broaden their
mind as well as horizons.
The main work of project is to teach English to elementary
school children. In the class, you can design creative
English-learning activities or games for them. Just put all your
passion and crazy ideas! Besides as an English teacher, you may
also become a story teller! Share your own growing story,
experience and culture to lovely kids. And you can prepare
some traditional clothes, arts, music, dance as many as you can
imagine.
Apart from children, you will also interact with the elder in
this project. You may have teatime or long talk with them,
sharing your knowledge of health care or make your hometown
dessert for them. Simultaneously, you can learn more about
Taiwanese culture from the elder, such as speaking Taiwanese,
writing calligraphy, playing Chinese chess, making Taiwanese
dessert and so on.
With your love, enthusiasm and patience, this Love for
Kids Project can provide those disadvantaged a door to the
unknown, create pictures of the world never seen, and allow
adventure never dared.
