ABOUT AIESEC
AIESEC International AIESEC is an international, inde-pendent, not-for-profit, non-political organization, which aims at developing leadership potential in young genera-tion. From 1948 until now, AIESEC has presented in 124 countries/territories and 2400 universities, worked with 8,000 partners worldwide and empowered 110,000 members and 1,000,000 alumni around the world.
AIESEC in Vietnam AIESEC in Vietnam was founded in 2006. At the moment, we have +600 proactive members from 6 branches in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. AIESEC FTU Hanoi Founded in 2009, AIESEC FTU HN is having 100+ members from 9 prestigious universities in Hanoi, and has organized many projects for the youth, such as Global Leadership Activation Day, Global Citizen Summer Camp, etc.

ABOUT ZÓ PROJECT
Zó project is a young and growing social
enterprise based in Hanoi, which aims to
preserve and promote local traditional
values, with the current focus on
Vietnamese traditional paper called “Dó
paper”. Zó „s work has been widely recog-
nized by public, media and various organi-
zations.
Established in 2013, Zó project specializes in the production of Do paper„s prod-
ucts and crafts. They wish to promote one of the world‟s most celebrated handmade
papers that have been used by painters and poets for many centuries. At the same
time, Zó wishes to enhance awareness of environmental issues. They believe that an
appreciation of these fine paper products, made in the time honored way by artisans,
will help encourage a slow lifestyle and awaken people‟s consciousness to the beauty
of nature.
Their social responsibilities include:
Improving the traditional paper-making process through green sustainable ap-
proach.
Preserving and developing the paper-making process technique via workshops
and events, meanwhile conserving Do‟s material source.
Creating more values for Vietnamese traditional materials with handmade
products having high economical values and modern design, which are friendly
to daily life.

Thanks to Do paper, they have made a wide assortment of handmade sheets, and
from these papers, they manufacture boxes in many sizes and shapes, customized to
customers‟ specifications, notebooks, photo albums, guest and wedding albums and
many more attractive products.

NGO PROJECT AND ZÓ PROJECT
NGO project of AIESEC FTU HN is a project cooperated with an NGO. Our mis-
sion is to provide non-profit organizations (NGOs) and social enterprises (SES) with
a team of young, proactive, energetic and potential international students to make
impacts in the society by joining community projects.
NGO project- Zó Project is a project in which AIESEC FTU HN cooperates with a
Social Enterprise- Zó project.

INTERN’S JOB DESCRIPTION
Joining this project, interns will be assigned to Business Development and Mar-
keting Department of Zó Project. They will have chances to work with a small agile
team, start-up theme from Zó Project.
Duration: from 2 months to 3 months.
Working hours: 20-30 hours/ week.
Job description 1: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and
sale strategies
Job Description 2: Assist in market research for the demand for handi-
craft/traditional products of Vietnamese customers
Job Description 3: Assist at various events and workshops
Job Description 4: Assist in translating/content writing for media marketing/PR
Job Description 5: Research and propose potential partnerships for international
collaboration
Key results expected from the intern by the end of the internship:
Implement and write 1 market research report
Participate in 2 main marketing and sale plans respectively
Assists in 2 main events/workshops
Key learning points and benefits:
Knowledge about Vietnamese value/tradition, handicraft.
Knowledge and experience about Vietnamese social enterprise eco-system.
Experience in project management, marketing/sale management

Personal self –development.
Adaptation skills.
A certificate and a recommendation letter from Zó Project will be given to interns
at the end of their internship.
Requirements for interns:
Passionate in social activities and social enterprise in Vietnam.
Responsible, creative, independent and highly self-motivated.
Good knowledge and skills in inbound and outbound, online and offline
marketing.
Experience in market research project.
Good verbal/ non-verbal and writing English skills.
(Desirable): Skill in SEO.

1. Pho – Rice Noodle Soup
If you ask a Vietnamese about their
most common traditional cuisine,
most of the time it will be Pho.

3. Nem Ran – Fried Spring Rolls
The most common, the most liked, the combi-

Soft, delicately thin sheets of steamed
rice cakes are served with crispy fried
shallots, chopped cucumber, shredded
romaine lettuce, bean sprouts, slices of
pork sausage, chopped shrimp, scallions,
and ground beef - all drizzled with fish
sauce.
