Anyone interested in helping with the development of a position paper on the care of clients with bipolar disorder, please let me know. We are pur- suing funding for the development of both papers. It is time to nominate a deserving colleague for an ISPN award. AGPN will present its first division award, Excellence in Practice, at the 2004 conference in St. Louis. Clinical experience in specialty nursing is required; teaching and curriculum development experience in nursing is preferred. Candidate must be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse and for authorization as an advanced practice in the State of Alaska. RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent provides classroom and clinical teaching to graduate nursing students enrolled in the advanced psychiatric-mental health nursing specialty track and to senior-level baccalaureate nursing students; works with other faculty to plan, implement, and evaluate existing baccalaureate curricula; and participates in university and community service activities. Doctorally prepared applicants may have the additional opportunity to provide instruction to graduate students in nursing theory, nursing research, and professional issues and will be expected to assist in the provision of thesis supervision. Scholarship is included in the work expectations of doctorally prepared faculty.
