Seminar Committee / GolfThe seminar committee plans the joint Fraud Expo and recruits all speakers, obtains vendors, votes on all important issues and budgets, and organizers the hotel. Ideal mix is three IASIU, three NEAIFI, and mix of three from IFB, NICB. Big task.

NEAIFI golf person and seminar people need to regularly conference about how to get vendors to participate in both, and maximize room nights. Seminar committee people should limit their involvement in other planning projects, as this will be major time sink.

I’m currently handling NEAIFI Golf member; I would like to remove myself from golf and committee tasks entirely, given my web and recruitment focus. Rob Smith from Progressive and Brett Glazier from Lemeiuex also likely to help with Golf. Colleen will be on seminar committee. Need one other.

Hit ReportThe website hits over the summer months are very low, which is to be expected given the minimal updates and off season. In the two weeks prior to the meeting, a marked increase was seen, with between 15-20 hits per day. Second graphic shows pages that were accessed during the week before the meeting. You can see people were largely signing up and renewing or reading president’s letter. No library hits. No useful links. Need to inform people about library. Useful links is just not really useful.

RecruitmentI have sent out e-mails urging recruitment to 120 of my contacts who are not NEAIFI members. These included out of state contacts all the way to New Jersey and all NE SIU that are on my contacts list, but not current NEAIFI members. 15 came back undeliverable. 1 decline, ISB offered multiple employees
