City Transport System 150 buses have been allotted to Faridabad depot
under the Jawahar Lal Nehru Urban Renewal

City.
The routes for this city bus service have been
proposed by Urban Mass Transit Authority
(UMTA) headed by the Commissioner Gurgaon.
A meeting of different officials from Faridabad
City was called by the Hon’ble Chairman,
UMTA(Commissioner Gurgaon) on 17th
September 2010 to decide on the routes and the
per K.M.. fare for these services. On the basis of
the routes decided in the above said meeting this
depot has already started to ply 15 A.C.Volvo
Buses, 20 Swaraj Mazda Mini Buses and 29 ULE
Ordinary Buses obtained under the JnNURM till
date.

As per the Report of SE, HUDA-II: Land which
was to be made available by the PWD (B&R) has
not been handed over to HUDA till date.
However, HUDA has planned two Nos. Multi
Level Parking one at MG Road, Sec-28 &
another in Sector-43 at Gurgaon. The bid on BOT
basis of Sector-43 site has been received. Only 2
firm submitted their bid but non of the firm full
fill the criteria/ norms as approved in the DNIT.
Both the firm are not eligible. Therefore, it has
been decided by the HUDA to construct
Multilevel Parking at their own, The Sr.
Architect, HUDA, Panchkula vide his office
memo No. 52 dt. 08.01.2010 informed that to
with hold further work on estimate/ construction
till further instructions are issued in the matter
after seeing the response of sector-29 multi story
parking which is being under taken by S.E.-I,
HUDA, Gurgaon. No response for multilevel
parking in sec-29 has been received.
So far as Multilevel parking in sec-28, M.G.
Road is concerned it is intimated that part of the
land was under litigation in the Hon'ble High
Court vide CWP No. 9142/04, 9181/04,7922/03
and 14583/03. Hon'ble High Court had disposed
of the above CWP in favour of petitioner; further
action will be taken only after land is made
available.
14 Gurgaon Health Trauma Centre in newly

the committee visited at Tehla Mukandpura road
on 25.3.2011 and the committee submitted its
report on 25.3.2011 to the Deputy Commissioner
Narnaul. A team comprising of XEN DHBVN,
XEN P.H., DTP, AGM HSIDC, GM DIC &
DDPO Narnaul selected these sites. Case is
being sent to the Government.
In this it is submitted that two sites near
Mahendergarh opposite village Paiga & near
Narnaul adjacent village Fazlipur &
Sheonathpura were identified which fall in
industrial Zone in the District Development Plan
2021-AD. MD HSIIDC was requested to depute
the inspection team to finalize the suitable site
vide DO No. 10746/MA dated 7.1.2009 and
subsequent letters dated 8.1.2009, 30.7.2009,
6.11.2009, 9.12.2009, 2.7.2010 & 14.7.2010,
nothing has been heard from HSIIDC so far.
26 M/garh PWD B&R (v) Up gradation of
Narnaul-Behrod road as
State Highway.
The length of this road in this district is 7.30 km
with carriage way width of 5.50 metre. This road
connects Behrod NH-8 and Alwar town of
Rajasthan State & this has already declared State
Highway No. 14 in Rajasthan State. Keeping in
view vehicular traffic it is recommended that this
road may also be got declared State Highway in
Haryana also The case has been sent to Engineer-
in-Chief, Haryana, PWD B&R Brach,
Chandigarh vide S.E. (Bhiwani) memo No. 236
dated 29.1.08 for approval. The name of State
Highway in Rajasthan territory “Bharatpur -
Alwar -Behrore-Narnaul road (SH-14) Km. 0 to
182.00 upto Haryana Border. The take off point
of ODR in Haryana is Km. 182.00 having a
length of 7.30 Km. in Haryana from Km. 182.00
to 189.30.

the traffic volume of NH-8, to avoid
congestion in Dharuhera and Rewari and to
connect the NCR area directly to Central
University, a new road network is required

This road will provide great connectivity to
District Mahendragarh from Gurgaon. It will
byepass Rewari. It will reduce the distance by
about 20 Kms and act as a growth promoting
project.

The existing road network between Bilaspur
Chowk (NH-8) to Kanina crosses the
important cities like Dharuhera & Rewari &
its length is approx. 65 kms. The
importance of this road will increase due to
recently establishment of Central University
at Mohindergarh 9 jqn5-Pali ). To
minimize the traffic volume of NH-8, to
avoid congestion in Dharuhera and Rewari
and to connect the NCR area directly to
Central University, a new road network is
required through shortest possible route.

Mohindergarh, a shortest route is marked

coarse and 40 mm BC as wearing coat. The
average height of road is taken 1.5 m from
the NGLs.
Keeping in view ROW as 100 mm wide,
about 1310 acre land acquisition will be
done with approx. cost of Rs. 458 crores
including solitiam. The cost of construction
alongwith utility shifting and afforestation
etc. will be Rs. 250 crores. Hence total cost
comes out of Rs. 708 crores.

conservation/ preservation/ restoration work
under the TFC Grant for Heritage
conservation improvement of infrastructure.
These funds have been deposited with the

and an amount of Rs. 17.70 lacs have been
incurred.

Provision for a stadium has been made in the

District on 19.2.2011, an announcement was

at the place earmarked for sports stadium. A
separate provision for sports stadium has been
made in the master plan of Nuh town.

driving especially the heavy vehicle driving is

Heavy Vehicle Driving School in district Mewat
on the lines of such schools being run in Rohtak
and Bahadurgarh. The project will go a long way
in reducing casual road accidents and enlarging

Development residential accommodation. This applies to both
government and public sectors including a large
number of women associated with NGOs
working in Mewat. A Working Women Hostel at
district headquarter is need of the hour. A
proposal under a relevant specific scheme of
Govt. of India should be moved. The Govt. of
India will bear 75% of the construction cost. The
land for the hostel and the remaining 25% of the
cost can be made available by MDA.

When District Mewat came into existence in
April,2005, it had Krishi Vigyan Kendra at
village Mandkola . After Mandkola becoming a
part of a separate Palwal District, there is no
Krishi Vigyan Kendra in District Mewat.
Mewat is predominantly an agricultural district
therefore, setting up of a Krishi Vigyan Kendra in
the district is one of the imperatives.
FC Agriculture has reported:
KVK, Mandkola was started with the basic
concept to cater the need of Mewat area.
Although administratively the village
Mandkola falls under Palwal district yet
KVK is wholly catering to the need of
farmers of Mewat district. Further, in a
meeting held under the chairmanship of
Hon’ble Chief Minister on 22-4-2010 it was
decided that 50 acres of land be provided in
Indri village (Mewat district). The decision
was with reference to allotment of land of
KGK, Gurgaon.
KVK, Mandkola will continue to serve the
farmers of Mewat district till independent
KVK is established at Indri village.

required to meet out the demand for which about
6300 sq.yard land is available in the campus of
old Court and about 19 acres land is available in
village Devlawas for residential purpose.

Stand
Rewari Town is today one of the most congested
towns of Haryana because of its industrial and
commercial prominence. Existing Bus Stand in
the Town is adding to the ever increasing
congestion. Hence, it would be in the larger
public interest to shift the existing Bus Stand to a
new site on Dharuhera Road.
The site marked for transport depot in the
Draft Development Plan-2021 AD (under
section 5 (4) of Act. No. 41 of 1963) is not
suitable keeping in view the public convenience.
Ideal Site for the new Roadways Depot will
be near the Rao Tula Ram Stadium on Rewari

District Jail Rewari has been acquired.

new District Jail yet.

Superintendent District Jail, Rewari has
intimated that total land measuring 402 Kanal 12
Marla has been acquired in village Phideri,
Rewari for the construction of new building of
District Jail Rewari. The acquired land was
owned by Gram Panchayat Phideri and other
residence of Phideri village. It is further
submitted that The Director General of Prisons
Haryana, Panchkula has requested the Chief
Architect, Haryana, Chandigarh to supply
revised/ reduced scope of work along with
amended drawings vide letter No. 18723 DG
Jails/2009/B.2 dated 24.06.09. No intimation has
been received in this regard in this office so far.
On receipt of these drawings, these will be
submitted to the M.D. Haryana Police Housing
Corporation, Panchkula, for preparation of
revised cost estimates. On receipt of the revised
cost estimates, necessary administrative approval
will be sought from the Govt.
Jail, Rewari has been acquired.
The administrative approval for Rs. 18.28
Crores for construction of new District Jail
Rewari was sought vide this office letter no.
33745 GI/B.1 dated 05.09.06 from the
Government. The matter was under
considerations with the Govt. in the
meantime a revised rough cost estimates
for Rs. 36.88 Crores for construction
of above said Jail were received from MD,
HPHC, Panchkula and the same were sent
to Government for administrative approval
vide this office letter no. 18719-21 DG
Jails/08/B.1 dated 04.07.08. The
Government vide its memo no. 31/5/1998-
4JJ(II) dated 16.10.08 asked for reducing
the cost estimates subsequent to which
Chief Architect was asked to prepare
revised drawings after reducing the scope of
work. Chief Architect has recently sent
these drawings which are being finalised by
the Prisons Department.

Chief Architect, Chandigarh vide his letter No.
109 dated 02.01.2009. The brief description of
required accommodations for extension of Mini
Secretariat phase II and parking etc has also been
sent to Chief Architect on dated 03.1.2009 & Lay
Out Plan is awaited from Chief Architect,

58 Rewari PWD (B & R) ROB on Rewari-
Shahjanpur Road
There is a heavy rush of heavy vehicles on
Shahjhanpur- Rewari Road. The Jaipur – Rewari
Railway crossing this road near Grain Market,
Rewari. Due to this heavy rush a long queue is
formed during the closure of Phattak and a time
of several hours is taken in clearing the traffic
some time, so it requires a ROB for the Railway
Line for smooth plying of traffic on the road to
provide a relief to the traffic to save time and
money from the wastage of fuel.
District Town Planner, Rewari reports that the
proposal for acquisition of land for constructions
of by pass road to connect existing by pass road
with the Narnaul road, crossing over the existing
railway line at container depot, wherein proposal
to construct ROB on the road junction of
Shanjanpur road and by pass road has made and
sent to the Administrator, HUDA, Gurgaon on
18-03-2011.
The matter is pending with LAO. Gurgaon for
notification under section-4.
EIC PWD B&R, Chandigarh has
reported vide letter no. 1446/Plg dated
20-5-2011.

New Railway line between Rohtak-Jahjjar Rewari is
being laid by Railways. There is a proposal for
construction of integrated ROB on Rewari Pataudi
Road and HUDA Bye Pass (SH-26) near Rewari Town
on this Railway line. One of such busy railway
crossing is situated in Rewari Town crossing HUDA
Bye-pass road on Delhi Jaipur line bearing railway
crossing No-56. Hence composite ROB on both level
crossing is required.
Executive Engineer, PWD (B & R), Rewari &
Executive Engineer, HSRDC, Rewari reports that the
approximate cost of this ROB is Rs. 195.14 Crores (
HSRDC share 165 .00 Corers + Railway Share 30.14
Crores) This project has to be constructed on the BOT
basis as informed by Head Office, HSRDC, Panchkula.
