REPORT

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 The purpose of this report is to advise members of expenditure already committed within the community grants scheme 2004/2005.

2. BACKGROUND

2.1 A number of community grant applications deemed to be urgent in terms of time-scales required early consideration.

2.2 The Director of Community Services in consultation with the Convenor of the Area Committee approved expenditure based on advice from the appropriate elected member. Details are set out in the appendix to this report.

3. RECOMMENDATION

3.1 Members are asked to consider and approve as appropriate the recommendations set out in the schedules attached to this report.
