It inspired the people of other countries to overthrow their colonial m asters
and showed the path to democracy.
The French Revolution 1789- 95 was a political and social ,
religious and economical in nature and it ended the Kings rule
It introduced democratic ideas.
THESE COLONIES WERE UNDER THE BRITISH CONTROL .
THEY KEP TIGHT CONTROL ON THE ECONOMIC POLICIES
THIS WAS RESENTED BY THE COLONIST.
EACH COLONY HAD ITS OWN ASSEMBLY .
BU THE GOVERNOR WAS APPOINTED BY HTE BRITISH.
HE GOVERNED BY TH EINTERST OF THE BRITISH.
THIS WAS THE RESON OF RESENTMENT AS THE COLONIST
WORKED HARD BUT COULD NOT GET THE FRUIT OF THE
LABOUR.

HEAVY TAXES FROM THEM.

philosophers like Voltaire, Locke and
Rousseau who inspired them to fight liberty.
The demand for representation in the British
Parliament gave a way to the demands for
total freedom from the British rule.
They demand total freedom: state British are
oppressive and unjust.
The conflict led to an open revolt of the
colonies.
The revolt is known as the American war of
independence.
The representatives of the colonies met at
Philadelphia in 1774 and appealed to their
Kind George III to with draw all unjust and
oppressive rules.
The King regarded this as and act of rebellion
and declared war on the colonies.

TO SIGN THE DECLARATION OF
INDEPENDENCE:

OPPRESSIVE AND EXPLOITATIVE BRITISH
GOVERNMENT AND FORM THIER OWN
GOVERNMENT.
The declaration of
independence contained the
revolutionary ideas and
proclaimed that all men are
born equal and endowed
with certain rights such as
the right to life and liberty
and pursuit of happiness.
The war ended in 1781, with the defeat of the
British forces.
