Life before and after the Romanian Revolution of 1989 Much of the population believes that life was better before the revolution as the current one. The laws were respected by people-were not so many criminals and thieves so that people knew fear, and people were more honest law. Revolution broke out amid discontent people. At first people gathered in small groups to the pastor's house Lazslo Tockes of Timisoara. In delungul several d ays people took to the streets gathering in groups in the city hot spots (Cathedral, City Hall) Army and militia took to the streets to appease protesters them; from that moment began to shrink and more people came factory workers, students and then expanded throughout the country. In the days of the revolution were shot people. The highlight of the revolution was when Ceausescu fled by helicopter from the Central Committee building. From that time to set up another political regime and fo rmed the National Salvation Front (NSF), a body which ruled the country until new elections. Ceausescu was tried and sentenced to death by firing squad, judgment brought out in Targoviste on 25 decembrie1989 with his wife. Following the revolution was won freedom to travel, people were allowed to travel anywhere in the world,
