• Detailed brief taken from the client.

• RP International submit a detailed formal written proposal outlining the main parameters of the search to include job specification, target institutions, timeline, interview process, costs and terms and conditions. Client signs proposal.

• (Retainer Fee invoiced to client).

• Anonymous research period begins – typically 4 to 6 weeks.

• Research report submitted to client with leading candidates highlighted; RP International to meet with client to discuss report and agree upon which candidates to approach openly.

Case Study EMTS/Etisalat Nigeria

BACKGROUNDDue to strong existing relationship within Etisalat, we were asked to assist in the planning and recruitment of the launch in Nigeria

BRIEF

•All executive posts bar CHRO, CEO, CFO were to be filled

CHALLENGES

•Although Etisalat the largest stakeholder, the local partner was keen to have strong input and had seemingly been promising jobs to his associates. Lack of expat quota meant that we had to seek the best available Nigerian talent

CONCLUSION

•By working in partnership with the soon to be appointed CHRO and CEO in advance of their arrival in Nigeria, we were able to provide shortlists for all key roles with the result that the leadership team was in place ahead of schedule. Additionally, once the core team was hired, subsequent recruitment could be handled in-house with greater ease.

STC acquired 35% of Oger Telecom which owns Cell C, the third and smallest mobile operator in South Africa.
