Penalty for failing to call the Assistance Centre within 24 hours decreased from 25% to 20% of the eligible medical expenses that would normally be paid under the policy. Expenses for paramedical services (licensed chiropractor, osteopath, chiropodist, physiotherapist or podiatrist) - Benefit increase from $300 to $500. Expenses for emergency dental treatment - Benefit increase from $3,000 to $4,000 if you suffer from an accidental blow to the mouth and repair or replacement of your natural or permanently attached artificial teeth is required.
