AEROGREEN AC-10 Rust Remover and Metal Prep Ready To Use (RTU) Wipes are pre-made using the AC-10 formulation that uses a phosphoric acid and detergent blend to clean metal surfaces. They are made to remove rust, profile steel, cast iron, galvanized metals, zinc, and high polished aluminum prior to paint, or, to prepare a surface for a subsequent chemical coating, including liquid, and powder coating finishing systems.

Application Guidelines:

Remove rust and flash rusting on all metals including steel, cast iron, aluminum, galvanized, copper, nickel, brass: Wipe surface using the AC-10 RTU Wipe to remove all surface contaminants and while wiping the rusted areas. Turn the cloth as you clean to prevent the wiping area from cross contamination of soils. Use enough wipes to leave the surface wet. Wipe surface dry using a clean, lint free cloth. No rinsing necessary. The Wipes will remove the passivation on galvanized surfaces.

Remove weld splatter: Use the wipes to clean, prep and prepare newly welded metal areas for paint or powder coat applications. The wipes will insure proper adhesion on these areas. Use a clean, dry lint free cloth to wipe the surface dry.
