2. 1. What is Les Anciens?

  • Les Anciens d'AEGEE is the alumni association of AEGEE
  • Les Anciens keeps up the links between AEGEE alumni and the currently active generation of AEGEE
  • No thematic approach
  • Founded in 1990

3. 2. Who is Les Anciens?

  • 400 members, grows by 10 percent every year
  • Only for people who quit their AEGEE time
  • People need to be active on European level: CD, WG, Commission, Project team
  • Nowadays the criteria got softer: several years in local board, organised international events, travelled to many events

4. 3. What is Les Anciens doing?

  • Support for AEGEE
  • A place to meet: Les Anciens events
  • Networking and a forum for oldies

5. 3.1. Support for AEGEE

  • Input for events and projects
  • Created Foundation AEGEE Trust Fund
  • Continuity Fund for the CD
  • Help for CD with individual business contacts and in legal matters
