SEO Terms
• SEO: Search Engine Optimization, the practice of using content, code, and external factors to increase a site’s visibility in search engines.
• Organic SEO: The practice of using non-paid methods to increase a site’s visibility.
• PageRank: Google’s scoring system for websites. PageRank is based largely on links (inbound and offsite), but is determined by a complex algorithm. (Score of 1-10)
• Inbound Links: Links from an outside site to adx.com.
• Offsite Links: Links from adx.com to an outside site.
• Keywords: Important words in the content and metadata of the site. Search engines index websites by keywords and we search for websites by using keywords.
