Advertising Information and Spec Sheet
Teaching Channel’s website teachingchannel.org provides teachers with a growing library
of high-quality videos of exemplary classroom practices. For the first time, teachers can
watch and learn from their peers in their own classrooms. The site has become an
indispensable resource for teachers and now averages more than 300,000 unique visitors
per month. In addition, Teaching Channel has a weekly program that airs on public
television in more than 65 million homes across
the country.
Since launching in mid-2011, Teaching Channel
has developed a strong following, with more
than 350,000 registered users – and growing
every day – the vast majority of whom are
K-12 educators.
Each week, our users look forward to receiving Tch’s weekly email newsletter, which
contains “news you can use” – introducing new videos and sharing other useful
information. The Tch newsletter currently has more than 230,000 opt-in recipients (growing
at a rate of about 5,000 users/week), and for the first time, Teaching Channel is accepting
advertisements for placement in this email.
If you want to reach tech-savvy K-12 teachers
across the country, Teaching Channel will help you
do that. In general, our users:
• Are interested in improving their practice and seeing other teachers in action.
• Are looking for information and resources related to the Common Core State Standards and how it impacts their curriculum.
• Often want to share their experiences in the classroom, and connect with peers across the country to learn from each other.
I just registered today and have
become more motivated to dive
deeper for precision, focus,
cohesiveness, and rigor. This site is
an excellent resource!
- Janet P.
Love your videos. They've been
extremely helpful, even to a
veteran teacher as I am!

I love it! I've used many of the
