10 ADVERBIOS DE MODO
ADVERBS OF MANNERADVERBIOS DE MODOO los adverbios “HOW?”
p. ej. soft – softly cold – coldly
I started to move slowly. Empecé a moverme lentamente.
I started to move my arms and legsslowly.
She collected her things angrily.
(menos énfasis)
Recogió sus cosas airadamente.
She angrily collected her things.
The idea was warmly received. La idea fue recibida con entusiasmo.

ADVERBIOS DE MODO 11
¡PARTICULARIDADES!
Ortografía:
p. ej. drastic – drastically, comic – comically
p. ej. terrible – terribly, gentle – gently
p. ej. brave – bravely, close – closely
5. Los adjetivos que acaban en -ly, pasan a tener función de adverbiocon la ayuda de in a … way / manner:
p. ej. friendly – in a friendly way, silly – in a silly manner.
