1. GROUP DISCUSSION: What do you know about nanotechnology and its uses today? What is nano photocatalytics and what does it do? What kinds of investigations does the field inquire into? Some companies claim nanotechnology affects every aspect of daily life today. How so?

2. TEAMWORK: Work in groups of 3 or 4 to investigate the field of nanotechnology and its applications. Besides photocatalytics, what are some of its other areas of application? What have been some of the new products, devices, or innovations available to the public from nanotechnology research? What is the difference between nanotechnology and material science? Are they related? How? Find links about the topic, read text, write notes, and be prepared to report on your findings to the rest of the groups.
