Consultation Lessons

An individual session with a visiting professor Craig Ogden. These sessions are usually week nights

at Stoneham Court, the first of which will be in November 2017.

Specialist Workshop ‘Simply Spanish’

Sunday 5th November 2pm - 4pm @ Stoneham Court

An exploration of all things Spanish to really ignite your playing of Spanish guitar repertoire with

renowned flamenco artist Rafael.

Chamber Music Workshops

Saturday 16th December & Sunday 17th December, 11am - 4pm @ Stoneham Court

Explore landmark repertoire for guitar duos and trios with expert Maestros tutors and develop your

musical communication skills, leadership, balance and blend within a small like instrument

ensemble.

At 4pm on 17th December you will perform a short, informal concert for residents at a local care

home to share what you have been working on and bring a little seasonal cheer to the local

community.

Early Music Course

14th January 11am – 4pm @ Stoneham Court

Sunday 21st January 11am – 6pm @ Stoneham Court & TBC

Immerse yourself in a series of workshops and rehearsals with other Academy@Maestros students

to explore the wonderful array of repertoire which exists for guitar, lute, voice and winds.

You will develop your harmonic awareness and learn how to realise a figured bass line as well as

receiving chamber music coaching from visiting professionals in the Early Music scene.

There will be a short concert at 5pm on Sunday 21st January.
