PERSONAL FITNESSPERSONAL TRAINING

Let our nationally certified personal trainers develop a detailed plan to help you reach your goals and move beyond those fitness ruts. Our trainers will keep you motivated and focused. Challenge yourself, see what you’re capable of that you never thought you could do, and achieve results. Appointments will be made to fit your schedule. Personal training is a member benefit. Prices shown reflect sessions of one hour.

TEEN/ADULT GYMNASTICS (AGES 13+)

This class is designed for a variety of ages and levels. We provide an instructor that will spot and help assist with new skills. Since this class covers a wide range of ages and levels, the athletes will choose what areas they want to work on and rotate, as they like, around the gym.

PEDALING FOR PARKINSON’S

Pedaling a bicycle can change the life of someone with Parkinson’s disease. Fast pedaling is not a cure of Parkinson’s disease, but there is compelling evidence to show it makes a difference for the many who try.

Program Requirements:

- Diagnosed with Idiopathic Parkinson’s Disease

- Complete and submit a signed consent form and medical clearance.

- May not have cardiac or pulmonary disease, uncontrolled diabetes

mellitus, uncontrolled hypertension or stroke, dementia or other

medical conditions that are contradictive to exercise.

- Agree to periodically monitor progress.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA JUNE 3 - AUGUST 21

This cancer survivor program focuses on the whole person. Participants

work with trained Y staff to build muscle mass and strength, increase

flexibility and endurance, and improve functional ability while enhancing

their emotional well-being in a supportive community.

MOBILE KITCHEN

In today’s busy world it is harder to find the time to prepare delicious family

meals that are nutritious and healthy. Through a generous donation from

Kerry Ingredients, we have been able to create a mobile kitchen. Cooking

demonstrations are held throughout the year that feature step-by-step

instructions on how to make easy, delicious and healthy meals for the entire

family. Look for posted days and times throughout the year. Free samples are

available for participants.

BODYPUMP™ (B,R)The BodyPump™ revolutionary barbell workout challenges all major muscle groups. Class consists of squats, presses, lifts and curls as you strengthen, tone and define your entire body. You determine the level you’ll work at by choosing the appropriate weights.

BOOT CAMP (R)A high intensity workout to jump start your morning that could include anything from jumping rope, lifting weights, jogging or crazy games.

CARDIOKICK/BODYPUMP EXPRESS (R)½ hour of Cardio Kick followed by 30 minutes of Body Pump.

CORE AND MORE (B)A core class for those truly focused on abdominal work and exercises to work those hard-to-target core muscles. This class will also work on strengthening the back in relation to core strength for the body.

CXWORX™ (B, R)Based on cutting-edge scientific research, CXWORX™ is the ultimate way to get a tight and toned core. CXWORX™ is 30 minutes of dynamic training that hones in on your abs, glutes, back, obliques and "slings" connecting the upper and lower body, and will leave you look-ing good and feeling strong.

SPIN AND STRENGTH (B)This 60-minute class combines indoor cycling with strength and conditioning exercises to give you a strength and cardio workout.

CYCLING (B, R)Our indoor group cycling classes will provide exciting cardio workouts suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Under the guidance of our instructors, participants simulate riding through various terrains by manipulating their resistance and pedaling speed.

EARLY MORNING SPECIAL (B) Strengthen, stretch and tone! A variety of exercise routines for the early morning riser.

GROUP EXERCISE CLASSESINSANITY (B)Our certified Insanity Instructor will lead the class through max intervals of cardio, strength and power move blocks in this 30-minute class.

TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING (B)This intense athletic workout utilizes every kind of fitness equipment we can find to give you a good cardio and strength training workout.

ZUMBA (B, R)Come join us for some Zumba Fun! Zumba is a Latin inspired dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and dance movements.

MIX IT UP (B)Work upper and lower body with weights and other conditioning activities in this class that keeps you from getting in a dull routine.

PILATES (B,R)This class uses Pilates-based mat exercises as well as updated variations to make Pilates exercise fun and accessible to a wide range of fitness levels. Build long, lean muscles, increase your flexibility and improve posture in this dynamic class.

POUND (B,R)Channel your inner performer - Rock your body with this modern day fusion of movement and music. Using RIPSTIX™ weighted drumsticks engineered for exercise. Pre-registration required through FitPro.

ADVENTURE ATHLETE APRIL 30-JUNE 18 Do you have goals for 2014 that include races like the Amped Up Adventure Race Series, Dirty Girl Run, Warrior Dash and Tough Mudder?

Take your workouts to a higher level with Adventure Athlete. This intense new conditioning class is designed to challenge you to get the results you need to compete in, or complete, any of these races and finish strong. Classes will meet indoors and outdoors at various locations. Space is limited.

Through a variety of simple, yet intense exercises, each class will blast the calories and provide noticeable results in a short amount of time. Whether your goal is muscle tone, weight loss, or both, this class will provide what you are looking for.

YOGA (B)Yoga creates awareness of your body through poses that combine deep stretching with balance and concentration work is incorporated into this workout.

TEEN / ADULT SWIM LESSONS (AGES 13+)

These lessons are for individuals who wish to learn to swim as well as develop their stroke techniques, swimming abilities and increase endurance.

ADULT SWIM TRAINING AND FITNESS (AGES 18+)

Instructor will guide ability-appropriate group workouts. Interval sets, endurance work, drills and technique feedback will be emphasized. Program is open to all adult swimmers (fitness, triathlete, competitive and non-competitive) who are dedicated to improving fitness through swimming.
