General Specifications • All banners with a white or faint background MUST have 1px border • No strobing allowed • No rapid images allowed • Click through must open in a new tab/window • Hosted creative can be up to 1MB. Please note that larger creative files will increase the page load time for your site.

Rich Media Specifications

• Flash files must not exceed 1MB -‐ Please note that larger creative files will increase the page load –please downsize as low as possible • ONLY Flash versions 6 to 9 are accepted • Due to performance considerations Banners exceeding 21 frames per second will not be accepted • All Flash ads must be submitted with a SWF file and an alternate backup GIF image (can be animated) of the same dimensions • All banner ads are subject to approval by Junkee Media target website • Junkee Media reserve the right to refuse ads which cause performance issues • Loading files from cross domains is not permitted for security reasons Hardcoded URLs are not accepted in flash files, you must follow the below;

Audio

• Must be user initiated • Users must click the sound option before sound initiates • All audio is subject to Junkee Media approval

ClickTag

• Do not embed any URLs in the Flash file -‐ please supply the landing page URL to your AM • The clickTAG AS code should be copied exactly as it is below: case/character sensitive • The clickTAG expression must be attached to a button object using the onRelease action • For best results, we recommend having the button encompass the entire ad area throughout the timeline. • Buttons must have the clickTAG expression in place of embedded URLs as the top layer of the Flash file:

Background Skins – inthemix, FasterLouder, SameSame *Background Skins utilise the background around the site content to display advertising or promotional messages.

General Specifications Advertising PSD templates are found at http://junkeemedia.com/contact-‐us The files contain a PSD Photoshop website template that should be used by designers to ensure the skins they have created fit within the specific site guidelines.

• Please provide a jpeg file of the skin created from the template -‐ 200kB or less • All skins with a light background colour must have a drop shadow to differentiate the skin from the site – refer to ‘FasterLouder Skin Creative

Example’ Key template steps:

• Place design inside the third folder marked “Skin – place your design here”. • Change the colour of the layer “Background edge colour” to a colour that reflects your design. • To ensure the final supplied JPG is to spec, please turn off the top two folders: “*** Please Read” and “Inthemix/ FasterLouder/SameSame/Mess +

Noise”, and save at 200kB or less. NB: If you’re design is white (or a light colour), please turn on the “Optional Drop Shadow” so that the design doesn’t bleed into the white background of Inthemix/ FasterLouder/SameSame

Special Notes:

• Junkee Media skins do not scroll -‐ They are fixed to the header logo positioning. • FL/SS PSD templates contain two logo options: white, and black. Designers should choose the logo that has the most contrast against their

background i.e. black background -‐ white logo, light grey background -‐ black logo etc. • Please supply us with two final skin JPG's. One containing the FL/SS logo and one without. This will ensure that if the logo clashes with our branding,

Skin Checklist – Please print out and cross off

o To be sent over with a maximum file size: 200kB and JPEG Format

o Background skins have the option to be clickable however, do not contain clickTAGs

o Top of skin is minimal, with little to no detail -‐ Logos & copy on skins needs to be below the navigation bar -‐ please follow template

o All major elements for the design MUST be kept within the first 1260x650 pixels of the design. This ensures the majority of viewers should

be able to see most of the design. Minor elements can be included for the section between the 1260x650 and 1600x1050 resolutions.

o If the background is light, the content area must have a drop shadow (included in the PSD template)

o Skin design should not contain an 'ad'. The skin should complement with the overall theme of the ads being served on the site.

o All skins include a 990 pixel-‐wide solid colour section in the centre of the design (corresponding to the content section of the site).

o Design is simplistic and not too busy. Conflicting brand colours and patterns should be avoided

o Middle area of the skin is the same colour as the bleed on the sides

o Background skins for inthemix, FasterLouder & SameSame are fixed.
