•Bail Romero the biological mother faces deportation back to Guatemala once the custody battle is over in courts

• “In some cases, state welfare workers facilitate the adoption of illegal immigrants' children, acting on what they believe to be the children's best interest”

• Bigger problem revealed is that the children of illegal immigrants are often times put up for adoption without their parents consent. It happens because they do not have the resources to legally fight and protect their children.
