Conference Objectives• Restate the current Advisory Committee on

Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations for adolescent vaccines, explain the benefits of adolescent vaccines and implement 1 new strategy to improve adolescent vaccination rates in the office.

• List special considerations for the teen parent.

• Indicate the basic areas of the brain involved in addiction.

• Identify CDC guidelines for contraceptive initiation and management with the use of technology.

• Strategize difficult real-life adolescent health dilemmas with specialists in that area.

• Describe the different manifestations of disordered eating, including the diagnostic criteria for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and obesity.
