We need more volunteers for the preparation and serving ofour Thanksgiving Dinner., including pie bakers. Changes made this summer from the most important include: The installa tion of three new security cameras aimed at the exits on Daffodil:two a the south and one at the north side entrances. They are monitored regularl and take very good pictures that will be helpful identifying any irregula vehicle activity in the park. On the golf course, the electrical wires on the back nine have been re-rUT through PVC pipe and re-buried to stop the wire destruction by gophers anr prevent interruption in the irregation schedule. All l!reens and tee boxe were aerated and re-seeded in September. Several dead trees were removed one at the 1st hole, one by the north side pond, one on the island at the entrance to north side, and one at the end of 48th Street. Funds from th Lance McHaney Memorial Fund were used to purchase two crepe myrtles t replace the dead trees & the Landscaping Committee purchased a third one You will find new trash receptacles at the south side post office to discarr junk mail you don't want. These containers are NOT for household trash 0 animal waste. or wrongly delivered mail. If you receive other people's mail give it to Veronica or personally deliver it.
