Candidates shortlisted for B.Ed (English) Programme 2012-13

On the basis of their performance in the written test held on 27 May 2012, the following candidates have been selected for counseling mentioned below . All the shortlisted candidates are advised to read the following instructions carefully: ADMISSION PROCEDURE

1. The selected candidates should report at 10.00 am on 31st July 2012register and get their certificates verified and pay the fees on the same day. They should be available throughout the counseling till their process of admission is completed. Fees will not be accepted before 31 st July 2012. Failure to report on 31 st July 2012 will lead to cancellation of seat offered and they will be given to candidates in the Waiting List on the same day. Classes commence from 2 nd August 2012.

2. The seats will be filled in the following order General, OBC, SC, ST, VHC/PHC and WDP.

3. The admission session will be held on 31st July 2012 (only one day for both selected and wait listed candidates).

Waitlisted candidates will also be admitted on 31st July 2012 after filling the selected candidates. Unless seats remain unfilled there will be no 2nd round of admissions. The number of seats, if any are vacant, will be displayed in the University Website.

4. Some of the candidate have scored the same marks. Therefore, admission will be offered on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination up to the number of seats in each Category.

5. Certificates to be submitted in Original at the time of Registration

1. Original Degree /Provisional Certificate of the qualifying examination ( BA/MA) 2. Memorandum of marks of the qualifying examination. 3. Admit pass and Rank Card. 4. Transfer and Migration Certificate (TC will be accepted from the institution they studies last and as has been

mentioned in your Application Form) . TC from no other Institute/ College will be accepted. Certificate in support of Caste and income issued by the Compontent Revenue Authority for SC/ST/OBC

candidates. 6. SSC certificate for Date of Birth 7. Migration Certificate

8. Two recent passport size color photos 9. One set of Xerox copies of I to 7 above. Also two sets of Xerox copies (with attestation) of all the above certificates should be submitted. NOTE: The details of fees and mode of payment will be notified in due course.

OBC Candidates According to Central Educational Institutions Act 2006, only those OBCs who do not belong to the "creamy layer" are given the benefit of reservations. According to O.M.No. 36033/3/20904-Estt. (Res.), dated 09.03.2004, GOI Dept of Per. & Trg. sons and daughters of persons having a gross annual income of Rs. 4.5 lakhs or above are not eligible for OBC reservations. For details of castes which fall under backward classes please check the GOI website http://ncbn.nic.inlbackward-classesfindex.html. Therefore, if you have been provided admission under the OBC category, you will be admitted only if you produce an OBC certificate, from an officer competent to issue such certificates, clearly stating that the annual income of your parents does not exceed 4.5 lakhs.

8. Hostel accommodation is not available to local candidates. Outstation candidates will be considered for shared accommodation subject to availability. If admission is offered, the candidates should pay mess deposit as per hostel rules.

9. Details of fees to be paid will be notified in due course.

10. Attention of the candidate is drawn to the clause mentioned in the Instructions for filling in the Application

Form provided along with the Application Forms and is reproduced. “If it is found that a candidate does not fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements, his/her candidature will not be considered for admission and if the admission is granted, it shall be cancelled summarily”.
