Admission Procedure
Note: Sponsored candidates are supposed to pay the complete Tuition fee of 4½ years at the time of commencement of the course itself.
Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances except in conditions as mentioned in the ordinance of the University.
Separate boys and girls Hostels are available on campus with modern facilities and vegetarians mess. The current charges for boarding and
lodging are Rs. 65000/- per academic session. A Refundable Hostel Caution Money of Rs.10,000/- shall be paid once at the time of Admission. In
first year Hostel accommodation is compulsory for all students.
Admission through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET (UG), 2018 & Academic Performance.
stCandidates should complete 17 years of age on or before 31 December in the year of admission, but have not crossed the age of 25 years as on ththat date, are eligible to apply. Date of birth as recorded in the 10 standard / school leaving certificate will be taken as authentic.

Centre is recognised and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
Age Limit
PIO/Foreign Nationals: Candidates studying a course approved by Association of Indian Universities (other than CBSE/ICSE/State
Board/Matriculation) as equivalent to 10+2 system of India are eligible to apply. The last two years of such study should include Biology & English.
The candidate should obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, A.I.U. House, 16 Comrade Indrajit Gupta Marg
(Kotla Marg ) New Delhi 110002.
Eligibility for the BAMS program is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Board. The
duration of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is five and half years including compulsory rotatory internship of one year.
Refundable Caution Money: Rs. 25,000/- once at the time of Admission.
*The University reserves the right to revise Tuition Fee and/or any other charge from time to time.

Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra Ayurved Medical College and Research Centre established in the year 2014 is a constituent department of Shobhit
University, Gangoh. KSVAMCRC is recognised and approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of
India. The college is being developed as a prestigious centre for education in Ayurveda, nationally as well as internationally.
AyurvedaAyurveda is one of the most ancient systems of medicine serving the mankind as the parent of all other systems of medicine. It is said to be the
Upaveda of Atharvaveda, due to this fact this system of medicine possess a unique feature of being holistic, eternal, and practical. The river called
Ayurveda has its origin from the Vedas and flowing through the great classics called samhithas of great Acharyas of Ayurveda as Charaka,
Susrutha and Vaghbatta.
Ayurvedic medicine is a system of traditional medicine native to the Indian subcontinent and practiced in other parts of the world as a form of
alternative medicine. In Sanskrit, the word Ayurveda consists of the words ãyus, meaning "longevity", and Veda, meaning "related to knowledge" or "science". Evolving throughout its history, Ayurveda remains an influential system of medicine in South Asia. The earliest literature on Indian
medical practice appeared during the Vedic period in India. The Sušruta Sahitã and the Charaka Sahitã were influential works on traditional
medicine during this era. Over the following centuries, Ayurvedic practitioners have also identified a number of medicinal preparations and surgical procedures for curing various ailments and diseases.
Gangoh is a historical town at the banks of river Yamuna in District Saharanpur, which is approximately 150 km North of New Delhi. It is about 40 kms. from three prominent industrial towns, i.e. Saharanpur, Karnal & Yamuna Nagar. The University buildings are contemporary, light and artistically designed and surrounded by natural scenic landscape.
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) provides basic education in the integrated system of modern medicine and traditional
ayurveda. It prepares students of profound scholarship in the science of Ayurveda having basic and fundamental knowledge in different subjects of
Ayurveda backed up by extensive practical training.
The program enables a student to become an efficient teacher, a research scholar and a competent Ayurvedic physician and surgeon to be
able to contribute his mite in the medical and health services
