    Hardware requirements Minimum 40MB disk space to install

    Minimum 512MB RAM to operate

    Works with 32- and 64-bit Windows environments

    Software requirements Microsoft Windows OS (minimum Windows XP)

    ! Does not work on MAC OS or Linux OS

    MS Excel for Windows to display outputs

    Data requirements Micro-level data either household-level or individual level

    Data saved in SPSS or Stata format

    ADEPT works with or without Stata installed in your computer.

    ADEPT works with or without internet connection.

    Data preparation Do you have micro-level data is it household-level or

    individual-level data?

    Are your datasets saved in Stata or SPSS format?

    Does your data contain the variables needed to runADEPT?

    What the variables in your dataset refer to the fieldsrequired in the particular ADEPT module?

    Are the variable names standardized (for multipledatasets)?

    For the analysis later, Do the outputs look reasonable?

    Are they internally consistent? Are they consistent withother sources?

    (poverty incidence)?

    on the poverty rate? based on how severe poverty is?

    4. In which 3 regions are the poor concentrated the most?

    5. What is the overall level of income inequality in the country? What can you

    say about income disparities in urban and rural areas?6. Who are the poorest segments of the population in terms of : employment

    type, education, main source of income?
