Open 3 documents – 1. SO 2. WC 3. WC Copy and paste Works Cited page and place

it at the end of your SO so that it begins a new page and a new page number. ( You may have to hit “enter” until a new page begins.

Do the same with your works consulted page.

This will be your last page.

Say Good-bye to first person…

Formal…..3rd person….writing.

Instead of….”I think research class is necessary”…..

Change your text to: “Research class is necessary.”

Say Hello to:

“All of you should become experts in learning the research process.”

Change to 3rd person formal…

“Freshman should become experts in learning the research process.”

Instead of……

“This paper is about students’ writing research papers and how important they are.”

Replace with: “Writing research papers is an important skill for every student.”

Remove:

Topic - ( subject) Smoking

Your Position – (opinion) is harmful to the environment

Why – (because) because is puts the smoker, the surrounding air and the innocent by-standers at risk.
