Addendum No. 1
Mission Bay Park P6
Bid Date: 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013
All bids must be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the office of:
Mission Bay Development Group, LLC 410 China Basin Street
San Francisco, CA 94158 Attn: Joe Antonio
General Notes 1.1 As discussed in the pre-bid meeting, the park project site is in a construction zone and the
surrounding roadways and parcels are currently under construction. Please see the attached aerial view of the area. The access to the site will be from Fourth Street using either Long Bridge Street or China Basin Street. The project site is marked in orange, and the most likely staging area is marked in pink. The staging area has a layer of loose soil which may need to be compacted for use and the cost for this should be included in the mobilization item. There is no crew parking in the construction zone unless the project contractor designates a portion of the project site or staging area for parking. The bidder is responsible for site security for the project site and staging area. The access for the project site and staging area is over a sidewalk. The bidder should include provisions for protecting this sidewalk as well as all other installed facilities.
1.2 At the pre-bid meeting, the Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure (OCII), which is the Successor Agency to the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, discussed the subcontracting goals. The Mission Bay Park P6 project has a 50% SBE goal which is slightly different than past projects. First consideration is for SBEs or LBEs located in San Francisco. Please find attached the New Successor Agency SBE Certification Procedures dated Nov 6, 2013 for your reference.

Bridge to Opportunity City and County of San Francisco Surety Bond & Finance Program
SURETY BOND & FINANCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The City and County of San Francisco is committed to providing local small and emerging contractors access to contract
opportunities on City construction projects. The Surety Bond & Finance Program facilitates this objective by providing you, the contractor, with the tools needed to become
