environent that ais to provide a study space for thosein need of it. Ehile the proposal in ind for the Church ofOur Lady of Fatia e!tends ,eyond just a study space8 itis a ood representation of 7hat could ,e achieved 7ithproper analysis of the counity;s needs.



3.$ Prorain

The ai of this project is to partially adapt a derelict seent of the church that has ,een used for storaeand overhaul it into a creative youth centre8 7here the youner enerations can eet up socially and

interact in ,oth creative and acadeic 7ays8 ,e it as a space for studyin or as a space for creative outlets.

The space 7ould include round ta,les for 7or9 and discussion8 as 7ell as a loune seent 7ith a coeeta,le and sofa8 as 7ell as varyin creative outlets such as a pin-pon ta,le andor pool ta,le for the youthsto ,etter interact 7ith one-another 7hilst also relievin stress. The hu, 7ould ,e a,le to accoodateappro!iately #$-#+ individuals at any iven tie8 7ith a rela!ed atosphere realised throuh interiordecorations via 7all features and appropriate fors of interior lihtin. An e!tension to the e!terior 7ouldalso allo7 for a sall stae to act as a venue for creative perforances li9e live ,and perforances or shortdraas.

storae space. The separation is done via theinclusion of a ne7 7all that open that opensinto the storae throuh the youth space8aintainin ease of access to the central

7orship seatin space 7hile also providin adirect lin9 fro the 7orship space to theyouth centre.

The second seent 7ill ,e dedicated to theyouth centre. @ue to the location of thecurrent storae on the ,oundary of the site8and ,ein situated directly ne!t toneih,ourin structures8 natural lihtincannot ful6l the coplete lihtinre2uireents8 and as such the space ust ,elit usin interior lihtin. The far south 7all7ill open up to the outdoors8 allo7in for

another entrye!it leadin directly to theoutdoor stae space.
