INTRODUCTION

Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) is a directory service from Microsoft that store information about different network objects, such as printers, databases, and users at a centralized location and makes this information available to all users of the network.

AD DS simplifies the process of locating and managing of network objects and at the same time it also enables you to perform administrative tasks such as controlling the access of organizations vital resources.

Therefore AD DS acts both as an administrative tool as well as end user tool.
