ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE– 2015

Thought of the Month: ‘Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will lan d among the stars’.

Activities in School K.G: 03.06.2015 A warm welcome was given to play group children and parents. Prayer, Rhymes,

Songs, Drama and Puppet show was conducted by the teachers.

13.06.2015 & 20.06.2015

Orientation Meeting for the parents of LKG & UKG was conducted respectively. Teachers oriented parents regarding t he syllabus and functioning of classes.

Activities in School Primary: 08.06.2015 The School reopened and students could be seen entering the school

premises bubbling with enthusiasm. !! 09.06.2015 As an annual feature, yoga training clas ses have been started in the school

for students of Std. V to VIII and teachers, under the able guidance and supervision of Ms. Jyoti Purohit.

16.06.2015 Beautiful umbrellas could be seen around as our students participated in the Umbrella Making Competition. They used innovati ve ideas and material to prepare them.

20.06.2015 Orientation meeting was organised for th e parents of Std. III to V.

21.06.2015 ‘International Yoga Day’ was observed in the school wherein students of Std. VI to VIII and the staff participated enthusi astically in it. Various aasanas were performed by them.

23.06.2015 Poems on ‘Rain’ were composed by students of Std. I II to VIII in Hindi,

English and Gujarati as part of the Tuesday Activit y. 30.06.2015 Canvassing for the upcoming elections are in full s wing. The candidates

standing for the elections presented speeches to ga ther support for themselves. They were also briefed by the teachers regarding the dos and don’ts of the elections.

30.06.2015 Orientation meeting was organised for the parents o f Std. VI to VIII.

Out of School Activities Primary: 21.06.2015 S.P.C students joined the rally organise d by the police department for the

campaign against addiction at Gandhinagar Gruh.

Meeting & Workshop : K.G & Primary: 19.06.2015 Our Principal Ms. Priya Makhijani attend ed the first managing committee meeting of

this academic year in BHS-Alkapuri. Ms. Davender Hu ndal, Ms. Girija Mistry & Ms. Rizwana Jamshed also attended it for a brief introd uction.
