Specifically, they are looking for members that have done a sea change in retirement or have discovered a new talent in retirement. They would also like to hear from women that have worked in male dominated fields and would like to talk about the challenges.They are also keen to hear from members that don’t fit the above but have an interesting story to tell. Please advise our Secretary (Stan) and he will give you more details. Today - 16th May Melinda Shelley started a venture to help children access books for free. Naming it “123Read 2 Me" she has had great success, so far she has distributed 94,000 Children's Books. Since the trip involves long distance and Eastlink tolls both ways, bring $10 for driver. We will walk the Catherdral Ranges Southern Circuit, climbing Sugarloaf Peak and The Razorback. It is regarded as one of the best day walks in Victoria. It does involve some rock scrambling in in one section. Bring wet weather, good grippy footwear, food and drink. The walk is approx. 11 klms and may take up to 6 hours so a return time to Frankston is between 6 & 7 pm. If driving separately, Mel. X910 T10, Cooks Mill by 10.00am. It’s a short walk from the centre of the township and the historic Port. It’s ideally located for bike riding, walking or exploring the towns attractions and coffee shops plus restaurants. There will be a wine tasting on arrival followed by lunch at approximately 12.30 -12.45pm. This will consist of a selection of shared entrees followed by a main course with at least three choices available. The cost is $50 per person which includes the wine tasting and tea/coffee. Holiday Adventures Central Australia 10 day Tour - 2nd to 11th September 2017 This tour is definitely going ahead, so if you are still considering going, please remember that this is not just a tour of Central Australia, but includes a wonderful journey on the way, via Mildura and Wentworth, the Perry Sandhills, Burra, the Flinders Ranges; Lake Eyre region, Coober Pedy and on to Alice Springs. After spending a few days in Kings Canyon, Uluru and Kata Tjuta, we will fly home to Melbourne from Uluru airport. Cost with the current numbers is $5,160 (inc air fare). New Zealand – 17 Day Cruise & South Island Explorer – 5th to 21st February, 2018 This fully escorted tour includes the one way air fare from Christchurch to Melbourne, and a 12 night cruise in a Deluxe Balcony Cabin from Melbourne to Auckland. It also includes the flight to Queenstown ( where we will stay for a couple of

days), and a luxury coach tour through the South Island to Christchurch staying in 4 star accommodation before flying home to Melbourne. The cost is $5,494.00 per person, inc all meals (BLD), entertainment/activities and gratuities on board ship, and most meals, sightseeing and attractions on the coach tour. NAMES ON LIST PLEASE.
