ObituaryMr. Alfred Darrin Lucas was born December 13, 1965, to Clarence and Velma Lucas in Dallas, Texas.

He was educated in the Dallas Independent School District and graduated from David W. Carter High School. He also attended the University of Texas in Arlington. He was an electrician by trade.

Darrin was known for his brilliant and unmatched wit. He was an active member of Concord Church and an avid Bible scholar.

He will forever live in the hearts of: his loving and supportive parents, Clarence and Velma Lucas; his two daughters, Candicia and LaKeishia Graham; four grandchildren, Nay’Keria, Janay, NyKeithian, and Khanzetta; his brother, Clarence D. Lucas, Sr. (Red); and his sister, Shan Lucas-Cox; brother-in-law and friend, Bobby Ray Cox; nephews and nieces, Jaquel Lucas, DJ Lucas (Amauri), Barry Black (Asheley), Andre’ Black (Tiesha), Chassadi Cox, Chantay Cox (Bryan), and Damion Cox; his best friend, Luther Dewberry; and a host of great-nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
