WHYCHOOSE USThe world’s a pretty awesome place. It’s made up of different countries, different cultures and different languages. We understand most people have a desire to get out there and explore it but we also understand how challenging all those differences can be when planning your next holiday. That’s why group travel has been a preferred way to travel for a long time now. The major benefit of group travel is everything is taken care of for you so all you have to do is turn up, sit back and enjoy the trip. We also recognize that everybody needs his or her own chill out time especially with how hectic travelling can get. That’s why we ensure our tours strike the perfect balance between group activities and own time.

Action Sports Tours was born from the lack of good holiday choices available to people with an interest in action sports (particularly motocross). We’ve seen the world, been to these events and now it’s our job to give everybody else the same opportunities.

Our tours are all about giving you a true local experience because when you see the world as a “local”, things start to look very different. So the foods you’ll be eating, places you’ll visit and beers you’ll be drinking will all be from a locals perspective.

Why are you still reading this part?? Hurry up and get to the part where we talk about what money you can save and all the good shit you’ll be doing on tour.

4

Motocross of Nations Tour

DAY 1 – 2The tour will kick off in Paris. Details on the accommodation for Paris will be emailed out including meet up locations. Once the group has all met up at the hotel in the evening we will head out for our welcome dinner. This will be your chance to meet the everybody else on tour, kick back and enjoy your first night on tour with the group.

If you arrive in Paris early, there is plenty you can do including checking out the sights of the Eifel Tower, Arc De Triomphe plus all the other sites that make Paris one of the most frequented tourist destinations in the world.

DAY 3 – 5It’s time to get the Green & Gold face paint, the Aussie flags and supporter shirts as we make our way to Ernee, France for the Motocross of Nations 2015. On the Friday we will head out to the track to see in person how insane it is. We’ll also get a chance to walk the track with our special own MX Host (to be named soon). This will be your chance to go behind the scenes with the Australian team, get some selfies with the racers for Instagram and wish them luck.

On race day, we’ll be there nice and early to get our VIP tickets and start the cheering for maximum support. Australian has never won an MXON event however with the quality of our racers getting better and the names getting bigger in the European scene (Todd Waters, Dean Ferris) it could be this year.

The VIP race tickets will include hospitality on the days so you won’t have to walk far to ensure you stay hydrated on beer or water.

After the weekend we will head to the Motocross of Nations after party to celebrate a victory with the Australian team (fingers crossed!!). We’ll say goodbye to our MX Host and get ready for the next country, Switzerland.

DAY 6 – 7What’s good about Switzerland? Well the flag is a big plus. It’s also known for its Army Knives, cheese and hidden bank accounts. Don’t let these deceive you, Zurich is actually quite a trendy city featuring lots of bars and restaurants. On our way to Germany we’ll be stopping by at Lauterbrunnen to check out the world famous Swiss Alps.

DAY 8 – 10What is the one festival Germany is most notably famous for? Oktoberfest… Last year there were over 7 million people throughout the whole festival making it the largest public festival on earth. Oktoberfest is all about Bavarian foods and beer in large quantities.

DAY 11 – 12Once the hangover subsides we’ll be driving up to the country that made European motocross bikes and energy drinks famous. Welcome to Austria. Here you will have some downtime to catch up and do your own thing or join us as we get a tour of the Red Bull Hangar and the KTM headquarters.

DAY 13 – 14Prague, Czech Republic is a mix between an old fashioned medieval town and a young, hip trendy town with a vibrant nightlife. The town is small enough that it can be best explored on foot. The tour guide will show you the must see places in Prague including the Old Town Square (famous for its Astronomical Clock).

Once you have explored the area you’ll be free to come and check out an authentic Pilzner Beer Hall and experience Czech style food such as fried pork cutlets and goulash.

DAY 15 – 16

Berlin is one of the most historical cities in Europe but don’t let the history trick you into thinking it’s a bore. If history is your thing, you will get the chance to see the remaining parts of the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie. After this you can check out the Brandenburg Gate, which is where hundreds of thousands of people were finally able to cross from East to the West side after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Now that you’ve experienced the obligatory historical side of Berlin, it’s time to see why its now one of the hippest cities in Europe. The graffiti clad walls of the buildings in Berlin come to life of a night time. The cocktail bars and techno night clubs are world famous. There won’t be much time for sleeping in Berlin. Plus every night out will be followed by the option of a visit to the Kebab district.

DAY 17 – 19

We purposely left the best till last so you’ll finish with the best impression from your time with Action Sports Tours. There is no doubt you’ve heard about what’s on offer in Amsterdam. It has it all… Conveniently all located in an area known as the Red Light District. You’ll have free time here to experience the city at whatever pace your body can handle. Whether it’s sitting at a local “café”, taking a gondola through the winding canals of Amsterdam or just taking in all the sights you’ll be sure to fall in love with this place. There will also be a chance for some cycling tours of the pebbled paths of Amsterdam.

As the tour draws to end we will have our farewell dinner where you will be able to swap contact details, add your new friends on Facebook and get ready to venture to your next destination whether its home or more travelling.

#Ridetheglobe

Catch all the highlights of Europe AND cheer on the Aussie’s at the 2015 MXON. Join us as we combine your love for motocross with your urge to travel Europe without the boring sites. Umm where do I sign up?
