Great emphasis should be placed on encouraging students to be able to critically think.

InstructionsHelp students develop a true understanding

of the material they are expected to learn.

Teach proper note-taking skills. Encourage students to be organized.

Homework should be clear and concise and based upon the daily lessons that are taught.

Give weekly quizzes and tests. Quizzes and tests help the student truly learn what the teacher, need them to take away from each lesson.

Independent thinking is a good way to encourage critical thinking.

Students should think “out-of-the-box”.

Give the students situations that will have them using the lesson material and their own observations to work toward the answer.
