Actigraph Initializing the Device

Step 1: Double click the ActiLife icon on your computer.

Step 2: Connect the device to the computer

When the Actigraph Device is plugged in the serial number should display. .

Before initializing check to make sure the battery has at least 3.85V, other wise the Actigraph Device will not initialize.

Check only the device you want to initialize.

Initialize Devices Screen: 1. Epoch: (Depends on Researcher) 2. # of Axis: 3 3. Filter: Normal 4. Click on Steps 5. Click on Inclinometer *Do not check Flash LED or Use Stop Time*

Next click the Enter Subject Info button.

Enter Subject Information for Initialization Screen: Click in the subject name box and enter identifying information for the subject (eg ID 2001 baseline).

The subject information should display in the Subject Name area. Then click on the Initialize button.
