400T Safely transferred to 3,000m water depth Royal IHC Acve Heave Compensated (AHC) hoisng systems are the reliable and innovave soluons used to safely perform heavy liſt operaons in deep waters for dynamic sea states. They are designed to meet the latest requirements of the offshore industry and can be delivered as a free standing in-line system (shown) or as a single drum hoist winch, with an AHC drive system. Our highly qualified team of experts can adapt both configuraons to meet your specific applicaon challenges with your cranes. IHC can provide you with a fully integrated A-frame and other launch and recovery systems as well. Maximum safety & minimal energy consumpon IHC AHC systems incorporate both the energy efficiency of a passive system and the accuracy of an acve system. The passive part balances the pressure of the hydraulic oil and gas with the force of the payload. The acve part controls the posion of the compensator depending on the moon of the vessel, measured with a moon reference unit. The state-of-the-art control soſtware, specially designed for offshore liſting operaons, supports various operaonal modes, including posion control, empty hook and constant tension.
