400T Safely transferred to 3,000m water depthRoyal IHC Acti ve Heave Compensated (AHC) hoisti ng systems are the reliable and innovati ve soluti ons used to safely perform heavy lift operati ons in deep waters for dynamic sea states. They are designed to meet the latest requirements of the off shore industry and can be delivered as a free standing in-line system (shown) or as a single drum hoist winch, with an AHC drive system.

Maximum safety & minimal energy consumpti onIHC AHC systems incorporate both the energy effi ciency of a passive system and the accuracy of an acti ve system. The passive part balances the pressure of the hydraulic oil and gas with the force of the payload. The acti ve part controls the positi on of the compensator depending on the moti on of the vessel, measured with a moti on reference unit.
The state-of-the-art control soft ware, specially designed for off shore lift ing operati ons, supports various operati onal modes, including positi on control, empty hook and constant tension. It can also be adapted to meet the individual needs of the operator.
