A holistic education provides students with a broad anddeep foundation for lifelong learning and thedevelopment of values and life skills in each child.

The school’s two-CCA policy aims to help studentsachieve a holistic education. It enables students todiscover their strengths, interests and talents and equipthem to handle challenges they may face later in life.

Every ACSian is expected to participate in two CCAs –one Uniformed Group (UG) and the other, either aSport, a Performing Art or a Club / Society.

Approval from the school must be obtained for anexemption from the UG. A student is exempted fromtaking part in the UG only for the following reasons :

student’s aptitudes and strengths, bearing in mind the schools’ academic and non-academic

Admission via DSA• DSA is a commitment made by the School to the students,

and by the students and the parents to the School. As such, transfers to other schools after the release of PSLE results may only be considered under extenuating circumstances and will require MOE’s approval.

• Students who take up DSA Confirmed Offers must obtain a PSLE score which will qualify them for the Express stream.

• Students who exercise the Confirmed Offer given by the school for the Express Programme and subsequently obtain a PSLE score at or above the IP cut-off point may be offered the IP, subject to vacancy.
