Método no invasivo Evalua consistencia o dureza de los
tejidos. En conjunto se evalúan imágenes
obtenidas en la ecografía harmónica y propiedades elastográficas de los tejidos.

Fuerza de impulso de radiación (F) Absorción. Velocidad del sonido en el tejido. Promedio de la intensidad del sonido.
Esta fuerza va en relación a la forma y fuerza del tejido.

Cada tejido posee propiedades mecánicas que lo caracterizan.
Según la manera y rapidez con la que el sonido atraviese dicho tejido.

Sensibilidad del 71 % y especificidad del 69% en la evaluación del fibrosis renal.
En lesiones hepáticas: Sensibilidad 71% y especificidad del 75%.
Lesiones malignas del tiroides:Sensibilidad del 71% y especificidad del 88
%.
