    TOXICITY and HEALTH HAZARDSPoisonous - Readily Absorbed through Skin. Take precautions to avoid contact or ingestion. If skincontact occurs clean immediately. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately. Chlorophorm is asuspected carcinogen.

    Emergency First Aid Wash affected area with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes andthen soap and water. Speed in removing material from skin is extremelyimportant. Use safety shower. Call physician let them know you have been

    exposed to phenol - a very corrosive and caustic solution.Effects of Overexposure Severe Irritation to eyes, nose, throat. May cause nausea and dizziness. Causes

    damage to skin with any exposure. May be fatal if swallowed.
