Strategic Objective: • To achieve self-reliance of the Islamic World in the
production of vaccine. Program Objectives:• Enhance cooperation among OIC producers in R&D,
Production, Sales and Marketing.• Promote institutional, human and technical capacity
building of OIC producers.• Expand/upgrade existing facilities and improve quality
control procedures.
• Assist producers in obtaining WHO certification.
• Approval date: Dec. 1999• Total Amount: US$5.6 million
