Professional Practice Model (Nurse Satisfaction) // EP2EO

Magnet Requisite Present all eligible RN satisfaction data (inpatient care, ambulatory care, and administrative settings) and include all nursing levels collected and benchmarked by the vendor at the unit or clinic level to demonstrate outperformance of the mean, median, or other measure of central tendency (benchmark provided by the vendor’s national database). Submit results of most recent survey completed within thirty months prior to documentation submission.

Tools Available Clinicians prefer having the right products available when they are needed as well as receiving resources needed to lighten their load(s). Nurse satisfaction can be directly impacted by products and technology that makes nurses’ jobs easier and patients healthier.

Magnet Requisite Provide eight of the most recent consecutive quarters of unit- or clinic-level, nurse-sensitive, clinical indicator data to demonstrate outperformance of the mean, median, or other measure of central tendency (benchmark provided by vendor’s national database). Data must be the most recent eight completed quarters available from the vendor(s). Select and report data from all applicable inpatient care units. The required patient indicators for all inpatient care organizations include falls with injury, hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPI) Stage 2 and above, and two others. (See list)
