About Cambridge Preparation - PETIdeal for beginner to intermediate-level students, the B1 Preliminary (PET) qualification will assist students who want to communicate using English in practical, everyday situations.
Successful candidates will have proof that they are able to use their English language skills to deal with everyday written and spoken communications. Some examples include: being able to read simple books, textbooks, and articles; write simple letters on familiar subjects; and make notes during meetings and lessons.
The B1 Preliminary (PET) qualification can be used for education and work purposes, and is accepted by over 8,000 educational institutions, businesses, and government departments from around the world. It can also give students access to higher level English language qualifications such as the B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE) and C2 Proficiency (CPE).
Passing this qualification will improve your work, study and travel prospects.
