Presentation 1: Overview of the District Cooling System in the Marina Bay district

Speaker: - Mr. Foo Yang Kwang is the Deputy Managing Director of Singapore District Cooling. He has been with Singapore District Cooling since the company’s incorporation in the year 2000 and was largely involved in the design, construction and commissioning of both the district cooling plant in One Raffles Quay and Marina Bay Sands. He currently leads Singapore District Cooling’s Engineering and Business Development teams.

Presentation 2: Operation and Maintenance Experience in Optimizing District Cooling Plant Performance

Speaker:- Mr. Ang Chee Keong is the General Manager of Operations of Singapore District Cooling. He has been with Singapore District Cooling for six years and currently leads the day to day operations and maintenance of the multi-plant district cooling system.

Plant Walkaround The seminar concludes with a tour to Singapore District Cooling’s plant in the Marina Bay Sands development.

The takeaway for the participants of this seminar will be the understanding of the main attributes of dis-trict cooling system. The participants will be able to apply the benefits of district cooling systems in their chiller plant designs. Highlights: The seminar consists of three parts:
