Ir. Mohamed Azmi Salim is a Registered Professional Engineer and a Corporate Member of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia since 2001. He holds a competency certificate as a SPAN Qualified Person (National Water Services Commission-SPAN) for water supply and sewerage treatment system in the sections; W3, W5, W6, W8, S3, S6, S8. In 2015, he attended the “Train the Trainer” course and passed all the tests and was awarded the Trainer Certificate by “Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia” (CIDB). He attended a Course organised by the Fire Industry Association (UK) in Norwich United Kingdom and passed all exams and was awarded 3 (three) competency certificates in Fire Protection System; BS5839 Unit 1, BS5839 Unit 4 and BS5839 Unit 5.

He was a Committee Member for “Persatuan Kontraktor Jentera, Mekanikal dan Elektrikal Malaysia” (PKJMME) from 2014 to 2020 and a committee member of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) for the session 2016 to 2017. Besides, he was appointed as Examiner for both Professional Assessment Examination (PAE) and Professional Interview (PI) for the Board of Engineers Malaysia and The Institution of Engineers Malaysia. He is a Technical Expert in Mechanical services for Buildings and was invited as a speaker by JKR and Institutions of Higher Learning to conduct seminars and courses. Recently he was appointed as Advisory Board Member by GREEN CASTLE INNOVATION, a consulting company associated with University of New Castle in United Kingdom focusing on Green Energy.

Currently, he is the Principal of JURUTERA PERUNDING AZFA, a Mechanical & Electrical consulting company for governments agencies, Government Link Companies and Private sectors. He has 25 years of experience in construction industries for multi types of projects throughout Malaysia.

He obtained his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from UPM in 1993 and Design Draughtsman Certificate in Mechanical Services from Association Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM) in 1994.
