5 professional tips forhumidificationA relative humidity of 40 – 60 % is recommended for a pleasant atmosphere.

If the indoor humidity is less than 40 %, we recommend using a humidifier.

If indoor humidity is more than 60 %, we recommend using a dehumidifier.

For hygienic humidifying, we recommend that you replace the accessories on a regular basis, fill the appliance with fresh water daily, clean the inside and outside of the appliance regularly and, depending on the hardness of the water, decalcify the appliance once a month.

Measure the indoor climate using a hygrostat, e.g. Selina by Stadler Form. This will tell you whether you need a humidifier or a dehumidifier.

Water hardness: vaporisers and ultrasonic nebulisers are not suitable for very hard (calcareous) water. This also applies if water from a decalcifying system (ion exchanger) is used. In this case, we recommend an evaporator or air washer.
